About Us

The Tides Art Gallery was initially started in October 2000. Although there was a period of independent ownership when first opened, this unique Caribbean Art Gallery re-opened in a splash of colour in November 2007 under the management of Tammie Beasley, co-owner of The Tides Restaurant. All artwork is carefully selected by Tammie and her team, from Barbadian and other Caribbean artists whose work reflects the vibrant colour and life that is the Caribbean. With a variety of mediums such as oils and acrylics on canvas, watercolours and prints, as well as locally made Caribbean jewelry, handcrafted with semi-precious stones and fine silver, the Art Gallery carries something for everyone. The work is collected from across the Caribbean, but mainly from the islands of Barbados, Trinidad and St. Lucia.

Overseas purchases from the Art Gallery are easily arranged, as we can ship all over the world, as well as provide careful boxing and packaging of artwork.

Our daytime hours are from 10am – 3pm during the week, and 7pm – 11pm on evenings and weekends.
